Beyond The Walls
Our name has long been synonymous with the segmental retaining wall industry, and for good reason. Our company's history spans more than a century in over 20 countries, and holds over 120 U.S. and international patents. Over the years, our expertise has expanded beyond wall systems. Our team is now highly sought after for our in-depth knowledge in multiple architectural categories. We are renowned for engineering expertise that lasts the entire product life cycle, from inception to installation and beyond.
Building Our Story
While current homeowners and contractors may know the ANCHOR Diamond brand as it is today, we existed decades before modern technology was invented for this type of work.
Our company supplied the American Midwest with the iconic construction blocks that define many of our region’s historic buildings at the start of the 20th century.
We worked hard to meet the marketplace’s demands as the construction and landscaping industries evolved. Our visionary leader Glenn Bolles invented a pinless, mortarless retaining wall system that made us a pioneer in the retaining wall industry. We soon expanded beyond our Minneapolis home and the Midwest.
In 2015 we were acquired by Oldcastle® Architectural, a leading supplier of innovative and sustainable masonry and hardscape products.

Hardscape Manufacture Licensing: ANCHOR DIAMOND licenses and rents molds for pavers and wall blocks. In addition to the physical molds, we provide the support that Independent Licensees need to run a world-class business without requiring their heavy investment in R&D, mold development, testing or sales and marketing.

Site Optimization: Our broad expertise in multiple systems can help developers create the ideal design to maximize a site’s potential.

SRW Design: Tall walls, floodwalls, GRS-IBS bridge systems — we can engineer a wide variety of wall solutions to address nearly any site challenge.

Infrastructure: We provide engineering support for the design of both permeable interlocking concrete pavements (PICP) and impervious interlocking concrete pavements (ICP) paver systems for parking lots, roadways, walkways and plazas.

Stormwater Management: Our SWM Pave team will assist with your stormwater management objectives with a focus on site hydrology and stormwater treatment, detention, conveyance or harvesting and recycling. SWM Pave not only provides support for design and installation but also expertise for the testing and maintenance of PICP.
